To A Hater of Jews (Con't.)

      ...First, regarding the word "Jew": search any dictionary on the English language, and it will identify the word "Jew" as "an Hebrew," and "an Israelite."

     The Apostle Paul used these 3 words—"Jew," "Hebrew," and "Israelite" to express the same thing. Paul said, "I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus" (Acts 21:39). In II Corinthians 11:22, Paul said, "Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites, so am I." In Philippians 3:5, he says he was "circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews ..."

    Any Bible dictionary, or dictionary of the English language will identify the word "Jew" as a derivative of the word "Judah," and therefore, the word is used of them who are from this tribe. Paul, a Benjamite, calls himself a Jew because the tribe of Benjamin sided with Judah when the other 10 tribes joined together in the great apostasy to form the nation of Israel, or the Northern Kingdom.

    According to Matthew, and the writer of Hebrews, Jesus descended, according to the flesh, from the tribe of Judah. Your hobby horse is broken.

    Not only did Pilate call Jesus the "King of the Jews," but the woman of Samaria recognized him as a Jew. The material you read has prostituted the truth.

    Your information that the scribes changed the words "Jehudi" to "Jew" is without foundation, but by embracing it as truth, you are left without the Word of God. I pity you for you are condemned to stumble about like the drunkard, not able to say, "This is truth." And, you will never be sure, so long as you hold this view.

    Second, regarding the death notice of John Calvin which you say will support your premise that his name was Emanual Cohan, a Jew: that is sheer nonsense published by someone who hated what Calvin preached. Send me a copy of the death notice of Emanual Cohan, and tell me why you think he was the same as John Calvin.

    Third, Martin Luther was not killed, but died of old age. When he escaped by night through a gate in the city wall of Worms, the Pope published an Edict, which, for all practical purposes, declared Luther to be "Wanted: Dead or Alive." His life was preserved by his prince, Frederick, Elector of Saxony. He afterwards married, and had children.

     Fourth, regarding the lie by the Jews that they never were in bondage to any man: Jesus never agreed they were never in bondage. The passage states just the opposite. It was common knowledge that Judah was carried away into captivity 136 years after Israel.

     What these Jews were saying, and what you apparently do not understand, is that they never admitted to being a conquered people; that God had expelled them from the Promised Land as He had the Philistines before them. It was true, nonetheless (See: John 8:31-34). Fifth, regarding the Jewish yearbook on the History of the Jews that states the Jews are Edom: why in this world would you sit under the counsel of the ungodly? Why would you imbibe their tripe? No wonder you do not know which way is up!

     Sixth, regarding Prime Minister Ben Gurion's statement that the "curse of Cain" is lifted from his people: what was stated in the previous proposition is suited here as well. Sixty to 80 percent of Jews today claim to be atheists. No atheist has anything to teach me. If they will deny the existence of God when they know He exists (Romans 1:21), what would they not lie about?

    P., the Cainites were destroyed to the man by the flood that God sent in the days of Noah (I Peter 3:20). The flood that overspread the whole earth is not only proven Biblically, but geologically, and logically. If it was limited in scope, Noah had 120 years to find high ground, and had no need of building an ark!

   Seventh, why do you find it unbelievable that the Germans murdered 6,000,000 Jews in World War II? Stalin murdered 30,000,000 Russians. Mao Tse Tung murdered anywhere from 30,000,000 to 100,000,000 Chinese. The Khmer Rouge in Cambodia murdered 5,000,000 of the 7,000,000 population. Surely, it must be your antipathy for the Jewish people that you cannot accept the Jewish Holocaust.

     Eighth, regarding the name of God "YHWH:" God told His people His name was "El Shaddai," "El Elyon," as well as "YHWH." In Hebrew, our "J" is "Y" so the name "Joshua" is "Yehoshua."

     It was not the scribes, but the early Christians who interpolated the vowels from the Greek word "Adonai" which means "Lord" so they could pronounce the name. It was not sinister that the scribes removed the vowels in early days of recording, and copying God's Word. They did so, because they took seriously the Second Commandment, "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain" (Exodus 20:7). And, the Psalmist wrote, "Thine enemies take thy name in vain." To prevent such a sin, they removed the vowels to render the name unpronounceable. But, to say there are no vowels in any Hebrew word betrays woeful ignorance. I won't tell anyone you said that if you won't.

     Ninth, regarding the name "Baal" being changed by the scribes to "Lord" in order to confuse students of the Scriptures: again, all your "facts" are mere opinions because you do not accept the infallibility and the inerrancy of Scripture—both the Old as well as the New Testaments. This is a free country, and you have the right to believe such falsehoods, but it will cost you your soul. The Scripture says, "...there be lords many ..." (I Corinthians 8:5). Certainly, there is but one Sovereign. The name "Baal" does mean "lord" but it is always attached to Baal worship which is the name of a Canaanite god. It is therefore connected with idolatry.

    The name "Baal-Berith" means "lord of the covenant," but while this is a name God uses of Himself, it was also a name stolen by the worshippers of Baal, and which they fixed to their idol. "Baal-Peor" means "lord of the opening." "Baal-Zebub" means "lord of the flies." "Baal" does mean "lord," but it was never used for the Lord God Almighty. It is rather a name that when used gives praise to the Devil, yet how many people who follow Rev. Gale are ignorant of this fact!

    Tenth, regarding the truth that if Jesus was a Jew, so are we: as Abraham is the "Father of the faithful," so by faith in Christ, we become identified as spiritual Jews. As such, we become the "sons of God," being adopted into His household (Galatians 4:4,5). We are spiritual Jews by faith in Christ. Read Galatians, and Ephesians chapters one and two where this truth is expounded.

     Why do other Jews hate us, and blaspheme Jesus? because they are Jews "according to the flesh," who, although they have been circumcised in their flesh, have not been circumcised in their hearts. ...Must go.
